Happy New Year Saints! 

Well 2017 is here and I am thankful as well as excited to be in that number!!

I know it’s been some months since I’ve checked in with some of you, I must admit I’ve been overwhelmed! A new job, a new place to live, and a new outlook on life! God has presented some new and marvelous promises to me and I’m quite sure he’s spoken some to you as well; the question is whether you’ve chosen to hear them? What have you heard in your season of transition? Are you ready to discover the fantastic person you were always meant to be? I have discovered quite a few things about myself in 2016. Working with young children as a preschool teacher gives me an amazing example and an insight of what it looks and feels like to discover a new idea, or a new way of doing something  in any given situation or circumstance.

     This year I am approaching 50. Whew! At first I was sad, a little depressed and definitely fearful that I  hadn’t accomplished all that I believed were goals, but God in his infinite wisdom spoke into my spirit Isaiah 43:18-19 “Forget the things that happened in the past, Do not keep thinking about them. I am about to do something new. It is beginning to happened even now…Don’t  you see it coming? … (NIV)  The Road to Self Discovery can be frightening especially if you used to controlling your own destiny. But I employ you to seek God in your human experience and surrender all your worries and anxieties on to Him.Let God be God in your life! He can mold you and shape you on that road to discovering you. I’ve found that when I give up my fears to him he graces me with peace and assurance that I’ve never known before!  I am ready to begin whatever work that needs to be done in my life.

      Move over and let God take over the driver’s seat in your life on the road to self discovery. I promise you he’ll work things out for your good!  Be Blessed!
